By Melissa Manchester, CSMFO Executive Director

Members,

Last year, when CSMFO decided to go to the email/blog format for our CSMFO News, the Board also decided that we would still create the magazine once a year, to commemorate the Annual Conference. Who knew then that this magazine edition would come at a time when we’re all anxious and stressed and overwhelmed? Looking back through this issue, seeing all the smiling faces, reminds me that this year hasn’t been all bad. And that this time in isolation, though daunting, will soon be merely a shared human experience. Perhaps on the other side of this we will emerge even more connected as a community.

In the meantime, when work gets to be too much or you just finished your eighth video conference of the day or your homeschooled toddler yells “No!” one more time–use that as an excuse to take a moment and read through this magazine, and smile.
