Sarah Erck, CSMFO Administrative Director

How long have you been with CSMFO, and what’s your role?

I’ve been with CSMFO since 2018, just in time to attend the conference at the Mission Inn! I serve as CSMFO’s Administrative Director.

What do you like best about your job/with CSMFO?

I love how hands-on the leadership is, they’re always willing to roll up their sleeves and join in with staff to get the work done. And the conferences are RAD.

What’s one of your favorite Thanksgiving Memories?

One year my parents thought it would be fun to have Thanksgiving at a swanky hotel since we didn’t have family nearby. It was not good, and not fun and was generally a hot mess but looking back on it makes me laugh because it was such a disaster that it could have been a sitcom storyline.

What Thanksgiving food do you most look forward to and which do you avoid?

I love Pumpkin Pie, I requested it for my birthday for years. As to what I avoid…I love sweet potatoes and I love marshmallows but I firmly believe that they should never be in the same dish.

If you could invite any CSMFO Staff or Leader to your Thanksgiving dinner, who would it be?

I would invite Amanda Smith… who wouldn’t?
